How to Read the Tariff

• Rate per Km: the outstation rate for your vehicle, charged on kilometres counted from our garage to our garage.
• Min. Km per Day: 300 km is billed for each day of an outstation trip, even if you drive less.
• Driver Charges per Day: ₹400 for cars and ₹500 for the Winger, Tempo Traveller and Toofan, covering the driver’s food and stay.
• 8 Hrs / 80 Km: the price for a full day of local use within Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar; extra hours and kilometres are charged as shown.

Finding the Right Row in the Tariff

The table above has one row per car, and each row has several columns. Most people only need two of those columns for any one trip, so the trick is to choose the row first and then the columns.

Step 1: Choose your car (the row)

Start with how many people are travelling and how many bags you are carrying, not with the price. A row that looks lower on paper is no saving if the luggage does not fit in the boot.

• Up to 4 passengers, up to 3 bags: the Maruti Swift Dzire row.
• Up to 6 passengers, up to 4 bags: the Maruti Ertiga row.
• Up to 6 passengers, longer journeys or elderly travellers: the Toyota Innova Crysta row, which offers more legroom and comfort.
• Business guests, weddings or special occasions: the premium rows, such as Honda City, Toyota Corolla Altis, Toyota Camry, BMW or Mercedes models. These are arranged on request, so ask about availability early.

Step 2: Choose your columns

Once you have your row, the type of trip decides which columns apply. Local use and outstation use are billed in completely different ways, so you never mix the two sets of columns on one booking.

These examples use the column names rather than rupee figures, so you can plug in the numbers for the car you pick from the table.

A local day that runs a little long

Say your day lasts 9 hours and covers 95 km. You pay the 8 hrs & 80 km price for your car, plus one extra hour at that row’s extra-hour rate, plus 15 km at that row’s extra-km rate. Nothing else from the outstation columns comes into it.

A two-day outstation trip

For outstation use, take the larger of two numbers: the kilometres you actually drive, or the number of days multiplied by the minimum km per day for your car. Multiply that by the per-km rate for your car, then add the driver allowance (₹400 per day for cars, ₹500 per day for the Winger, Tempo Traveller and Toofan) for each day. Toll tax, parking and border tax are extra, and kilometres are counted from our garage to our garage.

What Can Change the Final Fare

The tariff is a starting point. A few things can move the final amount up or down, and it helps to know about them before you book.

• Fuel prices: per-km rates are linked to running costs, so the taxi tariff is reviewed when fuel prices change.
• Season and demand: during Navratri, Diwali, Uttarayan and the wedding season (roughly October to February), cars are in high demand. Book early and confirm your rate in writing.
• Late-night or very early starts: ask whether any night charge applies to your timing. It depends on the trip, so confirm when booking.
• Waiting time: on a local package, waiting counts towards your 8 hours. On transfers, waiting beyond the agreed time may be charged.
• Route changes on the day: adding a detour or an extra city adds kilometres, which are billed at the per-km rate.

How to Ask for a Written Quote

Rates in a table are general; a quote is specific to your trip. Send us a message on WhatsApp with the following, and we will reply with a quote you can keep for reference.

1. Pickup address and drop address (or the full list of cities for a tour).
2. Date and start time, and the date you expect to return.
3. Number of passengers and bags.
4. Your preferred car, or ask us to suggest one.
5. Whether you want tolls, parking and permits included in the figure or settled at actual cost.

When the quote arrives, check that it states the car, the total or per-km basis, the number of days, the driver allowance and what is excluded. If anything is missing, ask before you confirm.

Tariff Glossary

A few terms come up again and again when you talk to any taxi operator. Here is what they mean on our tariff.

• Garage to garage: outstation kilometres and time are counted from when the car leaves our base until it returns, not just from your door.
• Minimum km per day: the least distance billed for each day of an outstation booking — 300 km per day for every vehicle.
• Driver allowance (bata): a daily amount that covers the driver’s food and stay on outstation trips.
• Extra hour / extra km: the rates applied once a local package goes past 8 hours or 80 km.
• State permit: a fee commercial vehicles pay when entering another state, such as Rajasthan or Maharashtra.
• At actual: a cost passed on exactly as paid, such as a toll or parking receipt, without any mark-up.
• One-way fare: a fixed fare for a single drop, which is shown separately and not worked out from this table.
